SSC JE 2024 Exam Date
The day for the release of the official notification is the first important date in the SSC JE recruitment process. SSC JE 2024 Selection Process
The candidates willing to appear for the various stages of getting selected for the various Junior Engineer posts offered by the Staff Selection Commission will need to go through three stages of examination. The first two stages will be Computer Based Tests and the third will be document verification. SSC JE Paper 1 will be an objective-type exam and will have 3 sections: General Knowledge, General Awareness, and General Engineering for civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. The exam duration of paper 1 is 2 hours and there will be 1/3rd negative marking in this stage of the selection process.

SSC JE Paper 2 will have questions only from the technical subject as per the educational qualification of the candidate. The questions in this stage will also be of multiple-choice type. Candidates will be allowed to bring the Log table, slide rule, Calculator, and Stream table along with them for the exam. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for every wrong answer and the exam will be conducted for 2 Hours.
