RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria

RRB NTPC Salary and Pay Level
The salary for RRB NTPC candidates varies widely with posts. The pay level starts from as low as level 2 and goes up to level 6 similar to CHSL and CGL recruitments. The salary and allowances are paid according to the 7th Central Pay Commission. However, during the training period, candidates will only be paid the basic salary or an initial pay.

What is the Selection Process in RRB NTPC?
The RRB NTPC follows a comprehensive five-fold selection process to select the best candidates to serve the Indian Railways. These are as follows:
- Computer-Based Test or CBT Stage 1
- Computer-Based Test or CBT Stage 2
- Skill Test (Typing, Computer Based Aptitude Test, etc.)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Test

Important Points to Remember:
- Both CBT 1 and CBT 2 will be conducted in online mode only.
- If there are multiple shifts, normalization will be conducted.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark in both stages.
