RPF SI Notification 2024 Selection Process

The selection of suitable candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in RPF is a multi-stage process and consists of three phases i.e. the Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification. The candidates will need to clear all the stages in order to be eligible for the final selection.

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) –   General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Running, long jump, and high jump, which vary according to the gender of the candidate.
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Height and Chest measurements of the male and female candidates as mentioned in the official notification PDF.
• Document Verification (DV) – Candidates clearing all three stages will be called for the final stage i.e. document verification.

RPF SI Notification 2024 Exam Pattern

The Computer-Based Test will contain 120 questions worth 120 marks and will be divided into three sections. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/3rd marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. There will be a composite time of 90 minutes to attempt all the questions.
